CelticArtists, LLC was established in the Spring of 2013 in Columbus, Ohio, to bring our colorful art to the public. We are currently two artists strong and are initially focusing prints of pencil and ink drawings and landscape photography.
The pencil and ink drawings have a Celtic focus as both artists are influenced by their Irish heritage. Several areas of inspiration are illustrated in the drawings including Irish step dancing, dogs and cats, policemen and firemen, bagpipers, and Celtic cross.
Photographs from locations throughout the U.S. that are inspired by the intense colors of Ireland. Someday we'll get back to Ireland to capture the beauty.
The paintings, watercolor and pastel, aim to capture the emotion of people, pets, or the beauty of our world through drama of light and dark contrasts and the bold use of color.
